Just noticed this, but HD Theater is having a WRC marathon of all the rallies today from 8AM to 8PM.

Tonight at 7PM & 2AM Sat. HD Theater is running a 60 minute show about the greatest rally cars of all time:

I was just watching one of the Top Gear shows I'd recorded when I saw your note about WRC.  It looks like it's not available on Directv.  Is this true?

We dumped cable last month for the dish.  I was happy now that I could get Speed and NFL Network without buying a super premium package.  Got to watch some live F1 last week.  I guess I got shortchanged on the Discovery Theater.

You should have it on Direct TV - HDTH channel 281

And, Direct TV just got Versus back on if you like to watch IRL

Yes, Directv 281 works!

Yesterday, when I went to the Discovery Theater site, it only listed TW available in Cincy.

My printed channel guide shows "HD Theater" at 76, but 76 shows as not available on my screen.  The key is to look for "HDTV" in their online guide.  Wonder why they don't use their Discovery label?

Makes me yearn for the good old days before cable when it was channels 5,9, & 12, and sometimes fuzzy 2 or 7 from Dayton.  Remember how we used to get out and enjoy our hobbies back then?  Now we seem satisfied enjoying them from an easychair.

So, thanks for the news about channel 281.  Now I'll get even less fresh air!

Ironic. We dumped DirecTV in favor of DISHTV as they carry Versus. The day the installer is at our home installing the new system, DirecTV anounces they are putting Versus back on. Oh well, all we're doing is saving $60.00/month by switching to DISHTV.

Well, I noticed WRC showed back up on the TVRacer schedule that is on our front page a few days ago. Then I checked my DVR and noticed it had picked up Rally New Zealand. Looks like we have coverage again. Rally Portugal is scheduled to be broadcast this weekend.

Not sure how many of you caught this & it is a ways off, but VW has announced they are entering the WRC in 2013.
