Delta Skymiles Amex WARNING

I had not read all the fine print on their Terms & Conditions and found out the hard way that they are tricky about the way they go about business.

The gist of my warning is that you should be aware that only the primary account holder gets all the perks they promise. One of the important benefits they advertise is the free 1st baggage deal, well, this only applies if the primary account holder is traveling. If it is only the secondary account holder traveling, you will have to pay.

If you're going to get one of these cards, get individual accounts. Amex does not offer joint accounts with the Delta card, although, I have a Macy's Amex account that is joint.
