How long before Audi leaves LMP for GT? One more season?

That does stink!

And just as another manufacture (Toyota) is getting in the mix . . .

Did anyone watch some of the Sebring coverage? I only got to watch the 2 hour highlights on ABC/ESPN on Sunday. That GT battle was epic as usual these days. It still blows my mind that car can be running that close after a full 12 hours.

Missed it entirely. I tried checking the ALMS.com site during the day and the live scoring wasn't working as was their iPhone app. As of Monday, even their website still didn't have the rests of Sebring.

No one running the store over there? Doesn't bode well for the series if SpeedTV.com has the results before the official website.

I noticed that the other day as well and they STILL don't have the race results up. NASCAR/Grand AM probably hacked their website. ;D

Anyone getting pumped for the 24 Hours of Le Mans? Only one week away.

I'll watch as much as I can.  It will be interesting to see how the Nissan Delta Wing does.
Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

2012 Le Mans Breakfast Open Invite: Saturday, June 16th from 6:30AM 'til?

Here is the plan: Show up as early as 6AM - light breakfast will be available all morning (coffee, pastries, etc.). At 6:30 AM SHARP I will be showing the movie Le Mans with Steve McQueen on the 120" big screen in the man cave. If you can't make it that early for the movie, it's your loss, but just show up before the race starts. As soon as the movie ends we will tune in to Speed TV for the start of the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans (8:30AM). After a couple hours of racing action, we may head down to Fuel for the last half of Cars & Coffee.

This is my plan whether some friends join me or not, but it's always more fun to watch a big race with some other race fans. Chime in if you are interested and I will PM you directions to my house in Montgomery. I've got plenty of room for a good sized group of race fans in my 40 x 15 finished basement. Just get some rest Friday night and come on over bright & early Saturday morning.

Thanks Greg!  If I can stay away from the numerous beers that seem to make their way to my back porch on Friday nights I may swing by!

Also . . . this popped into my head as a nice addition to the coffee and pastries offered!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMlqjOqNrjw

A couple sets of free online live cameras will be available. The Corvettes have an in car cam like last year and a pit cam. Audi also has a live streaming feed available. See below.

What a great race so far! The Audi streaming cam in the link above is sweet. All the telemetry info is on screen including g-force.
