Our first planning meet is Friday November 13th, 7PM at the Cane's house. Anyone else who is interested in getting involved or just listening in (your choose your involvement level), chime in and I can send you directions to the Cane's place in West Chester. It will be a potluck/socialize/initial discussion. No strings attached, perhaps just a great way to meet some folks on this site.

Great. I'll email you the info. Welcome aboard. From your username I'm guessing you might be part of the S2000 group. We've got some folks representing the MINIs & the BMW Zs coming out as well. I would love to have some folks from the other groups join in as well. There will be more gatherings if folks can't make this one. My goal is 50 cars this year. I believe we can do better than that, but 50 cars would be great.

LR4 wants you! I am looking to utilize some of our massive design firepower here on cincysportscar.com to come up with some concepts for an official Leprechaun Run logo. My initial idea is a leprechaun head wearing vintage driving goggles with part of a steering wheel in his hands. I am open to other ideas. Let's keep it clean & simple. I would like the logo to live on for many years. Once we get a logo, then we can create some logo wear and I would like to look into some graphics for the cars in the rally that we could include in the rally packet to identify participants. The fourth running of the Leprechaun Run should be the biggest and best yet.

Big news folks. This year Leprechaun Run 4 is going to be a charity event. Our charity of choice is the fabulous animal shelter out in Batavia known as The League for Animal Welfare http://www.lfaw.org. More details are coming soon and registration should be opening up in the next couple of weeks. Clear your calendars for the afternoon of Saturday, March 20th if you can!

I'd like to try and make the meeting. 13th  what time on the 20th would this event start ? I'ts a work/ time related issue for me. If I can't make the run at least I can meet the participants.....

The meeting on the 13th was back in November 2009. If you would like to get involved as a volunteer, shoot me a PM.

guess I missed that one. I need to look for the dates a little better, sorry about that. Being on a saturday that might be somewhat difficult, work wise. I do hope to get to some events in order to meet people though...

Updated Leprechaun Run info

Registration: Cost is $25 per car - registration opening on the League for Animal Welfare's website within the next few days

Starting point/check-in: Saturday, March 20th 2010 - meet at 1PM start rally at 1:30PM - starting point is Frederick's Landing in Wilder, KY (park with large parking lot)

Map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=&daddr=Fredericks+Landing&geocode=FSbdUwIdL8L2-g&hl=en&mra=mr&sll=39.047052,-84.484091&sspn=0.026997,0.055747&ie=UTF8&z=15

Rally info: The rally route will be approximately 80 miles long and will take 2-3 hours to complete. The drive will be a fun back roads loop heading down to Falmouth, KY and back to our gathering at The Pub @ Crestview Hills. There will be many opportunities to stop and take a break along the route, but most will probably choose to take a break at the McDonald's in Falmouth at the halfway point.

Ending point: We have a large group reservation at The Pub @ Crestview Hills for our gathering at the end of the rally. Prizes and awards happen here including the yearly ceremonial changing of the guard of the much sought after Leprechaun known as Cabbage Lips O'Grady.
