New (for me) Boxster
« on: August 27, 2009, 08:28:35 AM »
Looks like I get the first post in the Porsche section.  I just got a 2006 Midnight Blue Boxster with 16,300 miles on it.  Great car.  We took it on a 120 mile drive through Brookville, Metamora, and Oldenburg, with dinner at Wagner's in Oldenburg.  If you've never been there, they've got great fried chicken.
Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

Lucky boy! Those Boxsters sure are fun road cars. Is it the S?

It's not the S, just the Boxster.  You can see a few pictures here.

I better not let the wife see that, she'll give me the evil eye for not buying her one yet. That's her color combo she wants! Hope to see you on a drive soon.

Niiiiice... that is a gorgeous color. I so want to get one someday. I would go for yellow though.

My first - and so far only - Porsche. 1977 911S. She was a beaut till I rolled her over that cliff. Expensive ambulance ride!

That sounds like a story I'll need to hear during breakfast at the Waffle House. :o ;D
